Top 5 Reasons We Love Cruising
This Traveling Tribu loves to cruise! We have noticed cruise ships are filling up faster and faster these days and with good reason! Whether you are a cruise enthusiast or new to cruising, we hope these 5 reasons we love cruising are helpful!
Great value for your money
Generally speaking, cruising is a great option if you are looking for a good deal and need to be on a budget. If you book early and don’t mind an interior stateroom, you can expect to pay about $130-$200 per day per person. You may find pricing lower (or higher) depending on the ship, ports of call, season and cruise line. But, when you take into account that this price includes entertainment, food, some beverages lodging and more…well, it’s definitely a great value for your money.
2. Low Stress Vacation
Have you ever gone somewhere new on vacation and gotten lost, driven around in circles only to feel more stressed than you ever feel at home? Or maybe while on a vacay you are starving but can’t figure out where to eat because you don’t know the area? These things cause stress on vacation and we already have stress right…who needs more? So we love ❤️ the fact that Cruising takes the stress out of vacation. Once you get on the ship, you are mere steps away from ALL the things. Food, entertainment, views for miles….and you don’t have to drive anywhere or get lost!
3.Ports of call
One thing this tribe loves to do is cross off countries we’ve visited! Cruising is great because it allows you to experience new places/countries for a day! Also, this is a great way to check out a place and decide if it’s somewhere you wish to return to one day!
4. Sunsets
There are no words to describe the peace and awe you feel out on the open ocean. You may see a school of dolphins as you gaze down at the waves crashing against the ship. Babes and I love to head out on deck, find a chair, order a beverage and watch the sunset over the ocean….Ahhh, there is nothing more calming or relaxing! Don’t miss the sunset (or sunrise if you’re an early bird) onboard!
5.Opportunity to disconnect
Being self employed, Babes really enjoys cruising because he gets to disconnect a few days from all the phone calls, emails, texts that are so much a part of his everyday life. Communication is sketchy when you are out at sea, but we actually treasure this time and try to just be present in the moment without all the distractions. ( If you can’t live without your emails, social media and texts/calls…you can purchase Internet options at a fairly reasonable rate….as Babes says: You do you! )
Bottom line
There are so many reasons to take a cruise. I didn’t even get to mention the wonderful food, awesome service/staff and formal nights! Anyway, you get the point….so what are you waiting for? Get Cruising! 😉
