Costa Rica…..Ahhhhh! It’s Paradise for sure. Rainforests, Jungles, Beautiful Beaches, Volcanos…..oh and those Sloths 🦥!!!

We traveled to CR for the first time in 2019. We drove all around the country and fell in love with the locals (Ticos as they call themselves) and all the yummy food!

We visited the Tabacon Thermal Resort and Spa on a day pass and it was stunning! Natural hot springs in a paradise tropical setting….I mean it’s perfection!

When we recently got the invite to return to CR and meet up with some friends we jumped on the opportunity! I started researching hotels and quickly realized that Tabacon was now owned by Hyatt Small Luxury Hotels of the world. I typed in our dates and couldn’t believe my eyes! This unique, relaxing resort we spent the most amazing day at, was going for 17,000 World of Hyatt points! WHAT?

As you can see, we booked this property right away! It was awesome learning that breakfast was included with the room and access to all the thermal springs (including special visiting hours for hotel guests only).
